The Italian aperitif

The Italian aperitif is a state of mind, a complex ritual ... something serious. A few hours in which to unwind, relax, share with friends and enjoy a delicious drink,  a vermouth or the famous Aperol Spritz, accompanied by some "Italian tapas", at our favorite place.
The aperitif was born in Torino in 1786 when Antonio Benedetto Carpano, invented the vermouth - white wine flavored with spices -. Being a drink difficult to insert in the market, he had the idea to offer a selection of "assaggini" -Italian tapas- thus giving birth to the appetizer. This trend has spread to the rest of Italy and is now part of the daily life of every Italian.
At La Ópera we want to offer you a different and original culinary experience in a unique atmosphere. Enjoy the authentic Italian aperitif!
